Adelaide Magic on the Road: Sam King Takes Tricks & Stuff to Sydney

Adelaide has quietly become one of the best places in Australia to see live magic, and every so often the rest of the country notices. This October, Adelaide Magic Theatre's own Sam King hits the road: Tricks & Stuff is on the bill at the very first Sydney Festival of Magic & Illusion, running 8 to 11 October 2026 at the beautifully restored Regent Theatre in Richmond, NSW.

It's the same show that won Best Magic at Adelaide Fringe and has toured from Edinburgh to Berkhamsted: an hour of comedy magic built on blenders, socks and candy bars, playing 4:30pm daily for four shows only.

A dedicated magic festival launching in Sydney is great news for magic everywhere in Australia, and we're chuffed that Adelaide is represented on the opening-year bill.
